The Rim Rock Inn

6/10 Okay

"I was not told that our king patio room was above a bar. Spiders in the bathroom. No exhaust fan in the bathroom and the window in bath was broken. It wouldn't close and had no screen. Rain shower head had no water pressure and the water did not get warm enough. I waited for the lady at check out to ask about my stay, but she didn't have time for me. So I left my key and walked out. The lady that checked me in was very nice. No continental breakfast to speak of."

"We have stayed at the Whispering Sands many times. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness more for the need to be updated. The room we stayed in should have the carpet removed and replace by the same flooring as some of the other rooms there. The beds are comfortable and the amenities are nice to have and convenient."

"Very good value! A nice hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. A good selection for breakfast. The attendant ensured there was always enough food and that it was put out just in time, delivering freshly scrambled eggs! The berries and whipping cream to top off your waffle was a lovely touch."
