"It was in terrible condition.The bottom of my feet were black from going barefoot inside our room. The towel bar in the bathroom fell off the wall when I removed a towel. The TV box was bad. The staff originally said we didn't have a reservation but then found it. A window was cracked and held together with tape. We asked for maid service which was done. The bed was left without the bedspread. The staff was very helpful with all of the issues."

"A great stay!"

"The room was a good size, but had absolutely no storage. The room was also extremely bright at night So much for dark skies at Capitol Reef. Beds had a horrible bed frame with shin destroying corners, but was comfortable. Great location. The front desk staff at check-in was great. The girl with the nose ring at check-out was horrible. Rude, rolled her eyes, basically a horrible human being. Will not be staying here again because of people like that. Sorry, do better. Also, breakfast was awful."

Capitol Reef Resort

"This is our second time at Capitol Reef Resort and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms lovely and clean. Loved the view from our room- both times we had 2nd floor facing the Red Rocks. Our first day was a bit smokey with ash, (no fault of the resort), but they handled it well. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back next year for sure. Restaurant was great too with wonderful friendly staff and the food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend. As beautiful as Moab, less crowds and much less stressful."

"Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. The only thing I didn’t like was the bait boxes everywhere outside for mice control which I understand nobody wants mice in their hotel however bait boxes poison mice but don’t kill them instantly so the mice continue to wander around and get eaten by raptors and other animals that then suffer secondary poisoning. It is a horrible death for the mouse and other unintended target animals."

"Tammy was super kind at checkin. Our room was clean and the property showed care with pots of flowers and efforts to update the rooms. We liked to old-fashioned "Motel"parking right outside of our room so we didn't have to drag our things through halls. We skipped breakfast as it was sparse. We would stay here again!"
