"Initially everything went well. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and gave me great instructions so kudos to her, also the reason why I’m giving a 1 star because she earned it. The room was not up to par with double tree standards. I’ve stayed at many over the years and this was by far the worst. In the bathroom, there was a huge hole in the wall hiding behind the painting above the toilet. My daughter noticed it before using the bathroom. When I moved the painting there were some kind of sewage pipes being held together by hose clamps, not sure why that would be there when the joint being used didn’t appear to be malleable. Maintenance came up, saw the hole and had the perfect sized patch for it. Curious as to why it wasn’t patched beforehand if the materials were available? While taking a shower I happened to look up and there was a bulge in the ceiling that appeared to be from a previous leak from above. The ceiling was still soft to the touch and there were specs of mold all around. I didn’t notice initially but my wife saw mold in the caulking around the tub. There’s a random door in the corner of the “kids room” that apparently leads to the roof. While I understand there’s nothing you can do about an access door, I believe it should be labeled and extra locks should be added (pad locks, digital lock with keypad, etc.) it made my wife and I uncomfortable knowing that our kids would be next to a door that led to the roof. "The WiFi was great and for the two nights we were there, it was perfect. The front desk guy was nice and professional, even had a good sense of humor as we checked in around 11pm on Tuesday. We checked out at three am on Thursday and it was the same guy with the same warm demeanor. Wasn’t a 5 star hotel, but met our needs. The room was clean and housekeeping even came through while we were gone Wednesday and cleaned up and remade our beds. Only things missing were a microwave and coffee maker. No free breakfast but the restaurant on site was convenient, inexpensive and good. Never tried the bar or the pool…."

"Clean room, staff was wonderful, breakfast was decent and wasn’t able to use the pool as it was raining that day. The only issue was with the building itself. Our room was next to a room that was taped off as well as the floor which made our stay a little un easy due to not knowing the situation. Other than that and having to pay for parking I would recommend. "

"Beds were comfy even if they are on the older side. Hotel was clean and the room was nice. My only complaint is that there arent enough mirrors for more than 1 person. The hot tub was amazing and made the stay more enjoyable. Parking was easily found in the hotel lot"

"My family and I had such a beautiful Easter weekend—it was truly a vibe ✨ The pool was so much fun, the staff was incredibly accommodating, and we loved having multiple dining options on the property. We’ll definitely be back."

"Good location, that’s about it. The hotel is seriously outdated — feels like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s. It’s clean, but worn down and honestly one of the more run-down places I’ve stayed at. Don’t expect anything modern. Staff wasn’t very friendly, which didn’t help. Parking is $27 a day, which adds up fast — another $90 I wasn’t expecting. Beds are mediocre at best. Flat pillows and you can feel the springs in the mattress. We paid around $600 for 3 nights, and with parking it was closer to $700+. For that price, you can absolutely find a much nicer place. Only real upside is the location — close to the trolley and about 10 miles from most places you’d want to go. Wouldn’t stay here again."
