Central San Diego hotel rooms a the Marriott Hotels & Resorts

"This is a nice enough place. We stayed here two times now and the rates are reasonable. The room was very clean. Paying for parking is ridiculously stupid in every awkward parking lot"

"My family and I went to the jacuzzi to relax at night. I cut my foot while inside it on what we assumed to be glass. There was alot of blood. We went to the front desk and showed pictures and videos of my wound. The lady gave us a few bandages and an incident report to fill out after saying the general manager wasn't present and saying it was out of their control. We felt like she didnt care. After cleaning up my wound in our room we went back to the jacuzzi to check if the staff was cleaning it out or at least roped it off to other guests and nope it was still operating as if nothing happened. What if another family went in after us and got hurt too? Did the front desk think we were lying? Does this staff not care about our safety? How am I supposed to enjoy the rest of my vacation now? Super disappointing, i thought this was a high end hotel to stay at. If I could give zero stars I would."

"The hotel was very accommodating, friendly and clean. The decor is updated simple contemporary. The breakfast buffet has plenty to offer and to our surprise, the hotel offered a complimentary dinner buffet Tuesday and Wednesday (week of Mar 28 - Apr 3, 2026). This was our second enjoyable stay with Homewood Suites by Hilton, the first being in Mt. Pleasant, SC. "

"Definitely a great property to stay at. Friendly staff, nice amenities, centralized in a good area. The only issue I have is with the parking. Although the rate was much better than surrounding properties we had our rental vehicle broken into the first night we stayed there. I did info the front desk and asked if there was cameras but i was told where we parked our vehicle at the rear of the property there was no cameras there. That's the only issue i have. Although we didn't lane anything in the vehicle it still was unsettling. "

"This was a very calm and pleasant stay. The resort was clean and orderly they tended to are request very timely. The room was clean and modern. There is no airport shuttle just an fyi. The TV had modern cable, no streaming options. Which was kind of nice, felt nostalgic. The fitness room can definitely be improved with an added weight set (barbells). Over all a very good stay and modest pricing."
