"I've seen reviews about this hotel stating that it's in a state of disrepair, needs updating, etc. Here's the thing: it's an older resort (think Dirty Dancing!) and not modern looking. HOWEVER, our room was really spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable (a little noisy due to the frame but the mattress was great) and the bathroom was nice with 2 sinks. A/C was fantastic. Keep in mind, this is not a romantic getaway; it's for families with small kids, or family reunion types of gtgs to enjoy the amenities. It's very lively and not quiet. You can hear people in other rooms and if you're on a lower floor, there isn't the kind of soundproofing a more modern hotel has. We went for a concert and just needed a nearby place to stay, and even though it wasn't for us old folks, we liked it. There's a small restaurant on site and lots of things to do. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
