"This hotel is our favorite when visiting Ames. The location is ideal. The staff is friendly and always been helpful. The rooms are modern and clean. The restaurant and bar are very convenient if you don't want to leave the property to seek out food/drinks. We have not used the amenities such as weight room, pool, etc. so I can't speak to that."

"Overall our experience was great. We were a little disappointed as the cottage room we were in this time was not as good as the cottage room we had the time before. Apparently they are not all the same and you never know what what you might get. Overall this is still one of the better hotels we have ever stayed at."
