"Hotel muy bien cuidado, el unido pero es que no tienen clima en varias areas del hotel como por ejemplo pasillos y elevadores. Se les iba la luz toda las noches. Restaurantes muy buenos 10/10 La atencion al servicio bueno, solo que muy molesto que te paren en cada esquina para vendert el tiempo compartido de hotel"

"This is a very beautiful property. It does have many positive features. We loved the food options. The room accommodations were very nice. Our concierge, Hector was very helpful. We were on the 26th level and the views were awesome. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of fresh options. Ruby at the 12th floor pool did an awesome job. We were a party of four and met another couple, so at times we were all together for a party of six.. The things that need improvement or that were lacking are. The staff at the lobby bar had a hard time dealing with us ordering six drinks at one time.. They weren’t very accommodating. In general, the majority of the drinks seemed watered down. It seemed as though they were trying to limit accessibility to drinks. Some of the best drinks we got were at the halftime bar and the 21st floor preferred club bar. One of the waiters at dragons was less than accommodating. Apparently everyone didn’t order drinks fast enough for him, so he brought three drinks of the six people at the table. He then came back and tried to take our food order with three people still not having drinks. We had to ask him to bring the drinks. It felt like we weren’t accommodating him well enough to suit him. I don’t know his name, but our parties were in rooms 2620, 2618 and 2204. Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at around 6 PM. Cleanliness around the 12th for pool and the glass at the Infiniti pool needs attention. We have enjoyed many resorts in the Cancun area. Good Luck"

"Overall rating is a 3 an ALL HONEST REVIEW. Some key points for future goers are ROOMS •“Ocean front view” room we stayed is advertised as a king size bed when really a it’s two twins put together •No shower door. So the whole floor was wet after showers and made the floor EXTREMELY SLIPPERY and DANGEROUS •the lighting for the shower as well was in the corner side of the wall lined up which made it look ghetto and instead of a normal shower light •paint job isn’t complete in bathroom •bedroom has a bunch of scratches on the frame which made it looks even more distasteful •stickers all over the windows … not necessary it actually ruins the view of the ocean which was the point of that room •walls are not sounds proof ROOM SERVICE •Room service was horrible. Only time they did great was whenever we called for food… Other then that they took forever to provide us New towels, a clean room when we were gone, Didn’t pick up dirty plates that were left for DAYS, •they don’t make your bed when you’re gone as well POOLS & Activities •nice pool side bar had non alcoholic options •not overly crowded •good music volume •ONLY DOWNSIDE IS BEACH IS CLOSED AT 6pm and POOLS ARE CLOSED AT 8pm. •gym is very stuffy and not spacious enough which can also be dangerous • again with service staff will only bring you drinks or food to you if you ask not go up to you and ask you if you need anything Only restaurant I’d recommend is HAKKA and the Italian restaurant for salmon"

"The staff here at Riu Palace were awesome. From the time we got there til the time we left. We came for my 50th birthday and when I had returned to my room on my birthday they left me a little birthday cake 🎂 on the table. The bartenders were good some better than others,I would definitely suggest asking for extra liquor in the drinks. Everyone there at Riu always said hello when in passing. The restaurants were good,but the Italian restaurant was my favorite. The Riu party was a lot of fun just wished the staff would cut off people when you can easily see they were intoxicated. 18yrs old is the drinking age,so these young adults don't know how to drink. It was shot after shot after shot for the young kiddos. The views were breath taking. We had a junior suite with partial view over looking the pool and Sea of Cortez. The shows at the Santa Fe were better then the Palace shows. The only complaint I really have was the bed. My bed was a bit to firm for our liking, but that's our opinion. We booked a few guided tours with Grayline,I don't think I'd book through them again. We paid 400.00 to swim with the dolphins,the they charged us 239.00 for the pictures, we also went down to see The Hotel California they didn't even mention that it was actually closed. They had jewelry and shirt stands there instead. I just think grayline kinda robbed us. I don't recommend using them. Hotel Riu Palace was great,I'd definitely book there again."
