An excellent island getaway if you wish to get away from the noisy Bali. We had two nights in the big bamboo hut and it was a stay to remember.

Zunächst einmal sind alle Leute vom Service vor Ort sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön! Die Restaurants aus der Nachbarschaft sind sehr gut, speziell das Cave Restaurant. Die Unterkunft weist jedoch leider einige Mängel auf. Zunächst einmal gibt es nur zwei Liegen am Pool, davon ist eine kaputt. Dazu gibt es zwei Sitzsäcke. Da die Unterkunft vollkommen abgelegen ist, können nicht alle Gäste am Pool liegen. Die übrigen Möbel sind für einen Tag am Pool leider viel zu unbequem. Die Zimmer waren bei Ankunft nicht so richtig gereinigt und wurden es auch bis zu unserer Abreise nicht. An vielen Stellen lagen Haare. Die Toilette ist ehrlich gesagt eine Zumutung. Die Dusche in unserem Zimmer ebenfalls. An Schlaf war in unserem Zimmer nur schwer zu denken. Bis 1 Uhr nachts gab es jeden Abend lautes Hundegebell. Ab ca. 5 Uhr am Morgen waren die Hühner vom Nachbarn nicht mehr zu überhören. Das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen. Die Straße zum Hotel ist keine richtige Straße. Es ist absolut unsicher und im Dunkeln unbeleuchtet. Wir hatten mit dem Hoteltaxi beinahe einen Unfall und sind auf der Steilen Anfahrt mit dem Auto fast die Böschung hinabgefallen. Die Taxis sind wie kleine Pickups und man sitzt hinten auf der Ladefläche. Kommt man Abends zu Fuß bei Dunkelheit zurück, muss man an vielen bellenden Hunden an der Straße vorbei. Es ist kein sicheres Gefühl. An unserem letzten Tag wurde sogar der freundliche Nachbar von einem Hund direkt vor dem Hotel gebissen.
