The two concierges, Sergio and Stephanie could not have been more friendly and welcoming and both were extremely helpful in addressing every question and need we had. When we arrived, there was an issue with our room but they quickly addressed it offering a free upgrade and amenities to ensure our stay was as good if not better than what we had originally planned. Everything was lovely and we all had a wonderful time (family of 5) "

! They have different options of rooms for every traveler, I traveled with friends and we chose AC rooms with private bathroom and they were very comfortable. They also offer tours which are usually better quality than if you get it in town (Isla Colon). Would go back to El Palmar."

"My favorite place of the entire trip!! Great hosts and excellent chef. Soooo peaceful and very romantic in a rustic sense. The wonderful lodge-like structure is somewhat secluded on an island near Bocas Del Toro, It is only accessible by boat and most tours will pick you up at their dock. The English-speaking owner can help arrange this. They have a sweet dog that bonds quickly to guests, but is not intrusive. Love this place!!!"
