An added bonus is the wine making facility on the property. We enjoyed a tour of the winery and tasted their wines in the perfect setting. "

Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

Be prepared for driving on windy roads with tight turns, but definitely worth the drive. Katia was a wonderful hostess for breakfast, always with a kind word and a smile. "
"The Chef went above and beyond coming to our table to explain how he created his dishes. The food was excellent. The front desk manager took time to come to our car and help us figure out how to pay the parking since it was all in Portuguese. Saved us!"

"The most magical place I've been to! The hotel is an old estate and they have redone it beautifully. The staff was first class, the food delicious and there were so many activities to sign up for! Spa was impressive with the hydrotherapy, cold plunge and different saunas! We will definitely go back!!"
