"Upon check in the staff was very friendly! Our room was on the ground level! It was 96 degrees outside and our room was a cool 70! Room was very clean, bathroom was cleaner than some 5 star hotels! I was a little worried as all of the rooms are outside entrance but no problems whatsoever!!
We would definitely stay there again!! Great price for a nice room! "
"Clean and comfortable stay. Do be aware there is no TV or internet. This is a good place to disconnect from media for a little while. The Lodge has good food options and shopping."
"It was an overall positive experience. A nice area and not too far from I-65. No complications. A comfortable bed. Couch was a bit hard, but other than that, I would still recommend Horse Cave Motel."
"Excellent location. Just minutes from Mammoth National Park. We were able to go back and forth to take breaks easily. Super clean and has everything you need to make meals. Laundry on site was very helpful to clean our clothes after hiking, cave tours and kayaking. You have privacy yet you are located close to everything (fast food/Walmart, etc. 15 minutes away). "

"grade A for what most people would consider a Roach/Kat/Ice motel. there were no fights, and it was very peaceful.
if you're rating them on cleanliness, you already know it's phenomenal: 1/3 of the people working there is top tier in cleanin', and he does a great job.
there is no continental breakfast (they can't take it down), so don't take it out on them because you're cranky. just go get some coffee. It's good, tastes like mcdonalds black, and IYKYK, go get some creamer if from the casey's down the road."
