"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. "Not a traditional hotel, but an excellent place to stay. Rooms were very clean, beds very nice and the whole set up with a bar on the grounds and park in the back of the property really great (especially with our dog). Easy street parking, a couple of 'fast food' options in easy walking distance (and more restaurants a short drive away). Only thing - if you do have a dog, some of the rooms are on the 2nd floor and the stairs are open backed and the flooring a 'metal lattice' type grating. No problem for humans with shoes, but our 40 kg greyhound found it a bit tricky. The hosts really tried to help find us another room on the ground floor but they were full. If we had known, we'd just have worked that out in advance."

"The room was clean with a coffee machine. The bed was comfortable and the shower lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was continental with bacon, sausages and eggs, unlimited tea and coffee. The food as the restustant was French classics and large portions."

"City centre hotel with adequate parking. Units are in hotel and outside as separate blocks. Comfortable and well decorated. Could do with revising room light switches to control lights from bedside. Bedside lighting was unsatisfactory to me. But it is a nice hotel. Friendly staff."

"Hotel best western very hotel in a good location We stayed for one night, the hotel communal area was a little warm, but it was a heatwave the A/C was very cool in the room, but our unit rattled a little, but not a huge problem. Our room was large with a large bathroom and amazing shower very quiet rooms. Parking opposite the hotel was easy to park in and convenient for the hotel. Great staff, very helpful and friendly small bar are. The hotel was very close to the town centre, a short walk up the hill, with plenty of shops restaurants and cafes."
