"A lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, so can’t comment on the other accommodation, but our room was clean, if a little dated. The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. We also enjoyed chatting with some fellow guests who were repeat visitors, which says a lot about the place. Overall, a relaxed and friendly hotel in a fantastic location, and somewhere we’d be happy to return to."

"All staff were helpful and friendly. This was our second visit to the Pheasant Inn and both were very enjoyable with comfortable warm rooms, tasty food at breakfast and dinner and most enjoyable atmosphere in the bar mainly due to all the staff engaging with all customers and their service was exceptional "

"I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is in a beautiful area and has a fascinating history. A member of staff kindly called me to advise if I wanted to pre-order dinner because I would have arrived after the kitchen closed. The meal was exquisite and a real treat. All team members encountered were very pleasant and customer-focused. Apart from minor wear and tear here and there the en-suite room was great. The full breakfast was hearty and substantial and cooked perfectly."
