It was Big Bear’s slow season when I went third week of October so there was no one at the front desk but communication was conducted via texts and the staff was responsive."

"This cabin is really cute. The living room has great seating. I really love the couches. It was plenty of room for two couples to have their own couches. I also love that the couches easily pull out to become a giant lounge. There are plenty of blankets and the heater works great. The Christmas decoration was a nice touch. Oh, and watching squirrels and chipmunks out the side window was so fun. The couches and scenery are what makes this a 4 star rental for me. If they fix a few issues, I would give it 5 stars. The main thing I did have an issue with was the main bed. It needs some work because it wobbles and feels like it will collapses just by sitting on it. Oh, and a bath mat/towel specifically for the bathroom floor would be nice, along with some coffee in the kitchen. Also, the communication needs some work. I had to chase down the check-in info through two seperate people. The first person was kind and friendly. However, the second person that ended up giving the info to me, was not friendly or communicative. "
