"This is hands down one of the prettiest and coolest properties you can stay in, in rural Portugal. "Book tours and tastings at La Rosa as soon as you book your room as they sell out. If traveling from Pinhao, I recommend arranging a car before you travel. There is a single uber/bolt driver and he lives outside the area so waits are long. There are many alternative private transfers that you can book but you won’t want to be walking your bags. The staff and rooms were fantastic. Comfortable bedding and pillow options. The breakfast buffet is everything you need and dinner at the restaurant was wonderful."

"This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area. The restaurant features a varied menu and the food was tasty and well prepared. The morning breakfast buffet was generous and nicely presented. The hotel does not have a parking garage but there was plenty of nearby street parking when we arrived in the afternoon. There may be fewer close spots by the evening."
