What a gorgeous place. Staying there is an experience in itself. The staff were incredible, the room was gorgeous and very clean, the spa was extremely relaxing, the wine tasting experience was so fun (Matteo was very knowledgeable) and the dinner was superb. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Property is beautiful everywhere you turn, straight out of a movie! Hotel is located at the top of a mountain and you get to over see the vineyards and cities., absolutely beautiful views. The only downside is the hotel only has 2 restaurants that offer diner and they alternate on which night they are opened, you also need reservations in advance and even then tables with a view are not guaranteed.

We stayed in a villa a little bit down the hill. It was quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed the olive trees and the overall placement of the Villa de Medici. I would recommend this as a getaway for you alone or to take a group of friends or family. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful and I would stay here again on my next trip to Italy.

Beautiful resort with old world charm. Lovely and helpful staff. Nice pool. Amazing views. Very relaxing stay at the of long European holiday. Just be mindful that they do cater to weddings and large groups so at some times the hotel can be bustling with these groups .

Property is seton a old olive farm with a small old town,very pretty and clean.the staff is very helpful and friendly not much to do around there and it is very costly to hire taxi to do wine testing in other areas, the food at their restaurants needs to improve, overall I give them a 3.5 stars

This was a beautiful and relaxing stay at the tail end of our Italy trip. The property is breathtaking. Breakfast at La Cantina del Redi was delicious. Wonderful coffee and fresh, well prepared food. The only major suggestion for improvement is to improve the quality and craft of the main hotel restaurant. Service was impeccable.

It’s really beautiful there. We loved our room and the amenities. The breakfast was nice, has all the basic you need. One disappointment is that the big beautiful building show on the main page IS NOT the hotel and IS NOT accessible to guests. The restaurant is bad, don’t eat there

This was our sixth visit and it still lives up to expectation. It is situated within walking distance to Artimino which has several restaurants all offering different dining experiences. Our favourite place was situated in the piazza by the museum and has only recently opened - Artimino Pizza & Vino. The owner, Solange was very friendly and accommodating - excellent food and wine at reasonable prices. Our only slight issue was in relation to the opening times of the hotel bar, sometimes it was closed at unusual hours, however, the pool bar did offer a backup for refreshments. We would definitely return.

Nice quiet relaxing location. Beautiful scenery. The only downside was that the spa included in price was booked all the time and reservations was required, limit to 6 people at a time for two hours. We were there for two nights and was able to go once to the spa due to a cancellation, would have been nice to experience it daily especially when traveled with kids and needed much time to relax with my husband. Restaurants around the area were overbooked especially at lunch time which was annoying since we had to walk to many asking if they have availability… The one restaurant that was open and available all time, the food wasn’t all that good. Otherwise we did enjoy it and kids loved the pools.

A tale of two experiences

Have you ever felt split in two? But your heart says yes. The location and environment were absolutely amazing... I'm at a loss for words. The view was breathtaking, with stunning scenery that made every moment feel magical. Whether we were strolling through the picturesque surroundings or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the beauty of the place was truly unparalleled. But the room... it was claustrophobic, dark, and so noisy that it felt like we were sharing the space with others. We had rooms above us and on both sides, and we heard everything—a baby crying, a couple arguing in the middle of the night, and every time someone left or entered their room. I’m sure they have a lot to say about us as well, of course. So, if you are a light sleeper, it might be good to either mention it in advance or bring earplugs with you. I did neither. However, the personnel were amazing. They surprised us with a bottle of prosecco after we mentioned how we felt about the situation. I know it won't change the thin walls, but it certainly made us forgive them and forget. Special mention to the pool staff and the porter, who did everything they could and even more. Their kindness and effort truly added an extra star to our stay. Honestly, I would visit again, now that I know what to expect and can prepare for it. ❤️

Me and my family stayed here for the first time , October 2025 to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, this place exceeded my expectations, the staff is very friendly but the property and amenities are beautiful , the apartment had 3 levels and had plenary of room for all of us to stay comfortable. The spa is luxurious and a must do .we will definitely stay here in the future .

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms in the village are fresh and clean. The walk to the hotel was pleasant and looking at the views are stunning. The staff are all professional and curtious.
