"Hotel was fine but smelled unclean and had many deodorizers plugged in to camouflage the smell. The bed was worn and torn and pillows were very flat and used. The location was only convenient for Carlsbad flowers. Otherwise it was at least 30-45 min from beaches and other sites. Breakfast was fine if you wanted yogurt or fruit. Stay away from omelettes especially the ham. Pool and hot tub were unclean and very small. One plus was the shower head which had fantastic water pressure!"

"Front desk fellow was very friendly. we were able to get early check in which was nice. room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fine. overall a little out of the way but I would definitively stay again."

"Beautiful clean room, extremely friendly staff, great breakfast. Loved the kitchen with the full fridge, I cooked 2 full dinners while here. Would definitely stay here again. "
