"If you're going to Carlsbad Caverns, this is the only place to stay, literally and figuratively. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was included, but there was no meat. Check in was fast and access to the room was easy. We were on a road trip and appreciated a fast in and out, no hassle experience at a reasonable price. We like the old school privately owned hotels that are well kept like White's. Back up to the door and haul your junk straight into the room. No dragging coolers through lobbies and elevators and hallways. After all, we didn't fly half way across the country to waste time looking at hotels, did we? Don't miss the evening bat flight. It was a highlight of our trip."

"We interacted with a few staff and they were awesome. The room was very spacious. It has everything we needed. We were late going to breakfast but they let us eat whatever was left instead of being strict about the time. "

"The staff was wonderful! Very friendly, greeted us like old friends, gave us a goodie bag and also told us about restaurants in the area that would be good. It was very nice after a long day of driving. The facility and the room were also great. Very clean and spacious. I would definitly recommend the Comfort Inn if you're visiting Carlsbad. "

"I have stayed at this EconoLodge in the past and it was OK then. They have done a lot of remodeling recently and it Very nice for an inexpensive palce to stay in Carlsbad. Carlsbad is seeing an oil boom now so it about as costly to stay there and it is in Austin."
