"We traveled as a group of 5 adults in two rooms. Overall, it was an okay 4-star experience, but marked by several frustrating issues.
Check-in & Rooms: The front desk falsely claimed our rooms were adjacent and that one had two queens plus a sofa bed. In reality, they were separated, key cards failed (requiring a lobby trip), and the sofa bed was missing. Their only solution was moving the 3-adult room to a completely different building.
Maintenance: The second room's AC was broken and terribly humid. A technician failed to fix it on day two. On day three, we requested a room change; instead, a second tech found a duct blockage and finally repaired it so we could sleep.
Beach: Quiet, but the compact sand made volleyball impossible. Heavy, smelly sargassum seaweed choked the water and shoreline across all resorts. The crew worked hard pitchforking it, but swimming and walks were still unpleasant.
Food & Drinks: Pool and beach bars were inconsistent and frequently botched drink orders. Food was repetitive, restaurants regularly ran out of items, and wait times for service were extremely long.
An acceptable stay, but the resort has significant room for improvement."
