"This was our first time at this resort. The trip was to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. It was a fantastic trip from start to finish and the spa was amazing and Janita set up a special day at the spa for her birthday they were all amazing!! Thank you all so much and we will definitely be back!"

"I stayed for three nights. The food was great, was seeing mixed reviews but enjoyed the different restaurants. Compared to other Riu a couple things are different like the Riu party isn’t a pool party. The pools do close @6. So next time definitely will be making sure what I’m booking they have a pool for longer periods of time. Other than that the staff was amazing and they kept the property very clean."

"I booked this property for the pool, and it didn't disappoint. But when I arrived from a private transportation, I was greeted. I had some things to work out with the driver, and i was left to carry my bags to the front desk. Then when checking in I asked about the pool hours, online said open until 7pm. But I was informed it closed at 5pm. I was very disappointed. I would have peeked elsewhere. Then the next day 8 asked around and others said 7pm for the pool hours. Others didn't know the hours. Lots of missed communication for something so important to know. The food was good, but they rotate the open restaurants. Not all open everyday. The concierge was extremely helpful. And very attentive to assistance, if you need. The rooms are cold with AC blasting, cover up if you like it warmer. The swim up bars is nice, but I found that service was slow. I will say I was a solo female traveler, and if I went on an excursion adventure. The guys at the lobby area always made sure I was picked up by the correct transportation company. And they always checked me back in making sure I arrived back safely. This was great .... they resort was more low key and not a party atmosphere. If you want more of a young party crowd, I feel this is not the resort for that. The water park was very fun and clean for kids. I like that it was no alcohol in this area. They were slow to clean the beach if they cleaned it at all of the sargassum. You pretty much had to walk though it."
Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort

"The property was really nice! Beautiful flowers and plants growing everywhere. Coconut and Palm trees swaying beautifully in the breezes. Lovely place to just layout read a book or catch a nice tan as the Pools are large, clean and plentiful. The Bars are well staffed and stocked. Staff guided Pool Side activities were fun to do or just watch everyone else. We stayed on the All Adult side. My complaints are... The Beach: The water! A Massive Sargasim over growth. Nice beach (powder white sands) but too much brownish sargasim growing atop the water and washing ashore. Water is shallow and there are no ocean waves at all. The Food: We had to have reservations to eat in most of the restaurants. We were given a so called $500usd per room per stay resort credit, but it was very unclear how to use it and no one spoke English well enough to explain it or answer our questions. So we did not get to use it. I was also told I could get a free room upgrade, if there was a room available. But ended up being made to pay an addition $300usd to get the upgraded room by the front office. Not sure if that was a scam or not. Overall, The pools more than make up for the lacking beach. But if you love hanging out in clear turquoise blue and green ocean waves on a beautiful sunny beach like we do, this one might not be for you. But, you will find relaxation, and beautiful well kept grounds here all day long."

"Enjoyed our stay, but the food was bland and very overpriced. The golf simulator was not working properly, guessing it needs some maintenance and software update. Plus all the tees were gone for a driver."

"Overall an amazing resort! Rooms were clean, super spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also love that there were tons of places to swim at without feeling too crowded. This resort might become our go to spot!"
