"The room was very well appointed and renovated but still had a fair bit of rustic charm. The staff are unbelievably nice and accommodating ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. The value for the price is unbeatable - free delicious breakfast buffet and snacks. "Super, friendly hotel/inn with exceptional food, a warm welcome, reserved parking and spacious rooms. The location is ideal for walking the Pembrokeshire coast path, as the bus stops directly outside and the room was really comfortable after a long day walking. Newport is a lovely spot, and there is an idyllic beach just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. "

Perfect birthday at the golden fleece inn.

"We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills. We were shown to our room, was given a birthday card from the hotel chap which was a nice touch. The room was surfice and had ensuite. Outside window had all scafolding( no body working on it whilst there on our stay) just cut out alot of light. Food & drinks fantastic,good choices on the menu also breakfast. Great team chefs and bar team. Very nicely laid out restaurant. All very attentive ,polite and good banter. We were there to visit Portmerian but also explored a few other places too that were on the door step. The beaches are 10 mins yo 50 min drive we drove along the costal areas and visited the litte villages. Portmerian is truly spectacular, magical and fairy tale like. All in all our stay was perfect."
