"Booked it because of the location and it was just ok. The nicest staff by far were the porters and wait staff I felt the restaurant manager was a little rude when I kept insisting breakfast was included with my room package
We had three rooms and did not receive one complimentary bottle of wine like our package suggested
Had to call down and let them know mini fridge was totally empty because I did not want to be charged
My kids had different cleaning ladies and had turndown service with chocolates on the pillow we did not location was good for table mountain and lions head "

"We were very happy with our stay at the Commodore and would recommend it highly. Before our stay, I was concerned about location, but it’s a very easy walk and safe walk to the V&A waterfront. The breakfast was excellent. The actual dining room while we were there was closed for a few days as they did some work on it, but the outdoor dining area was opened as was the bar area so I think they handled that situation very well. We ate dinner there one night and the food was excellent, but the service could have been better. We had a suite on the sixth floor and it was wonderful with a lovely view. "
