"Love the anchorage inn for price/location. It’s always quiet and staff are nice. They are doing extensive construction one floor at a time it seems so our floor was older and hallways smell of urine (from when they allowed dogs I’m guessing), but room is very clean. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with proximity to all things in the area for a great price!"

"Check in was quick and the front desk attendant was very pleasant. We used the pool which was great, however, it needed to be skimmed. A ton of grass, hair and debris floating in the pool. Housekeeping visited our room which was great. They replenished towels and made our bed. A pleasant surprise as most hotels/motels do not offer this service daily. They also offer a continental breakfast and tea and coffee all day. The room was updated and clean with a second floor balcony overlooking the river. We asked for a late check out and for $30 we were able to check out two hours later which was so helpful. A great place to stay which was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back before winter."

"This place was so great! I would absolutely love to stay here again! It is set up so cute (makes you really feel like you are right at the beach), has a little continental breakfast, an area for smaller kids to place, a bigger swingset, and a pool! You can even use grills to have a cookout, which is such a nice option to have. It's close to all things as well. The staff was easy to communicate with- we came in super late and they made sure we would have access to our room with no problems. I truly can't recommend this place enough, like i said- we hope to come back!!"
