Let me start by saying we checked in at 3:10 and check out at 3:20. The office clerk who checked us is was not friendly,not even a smile. The office also was not clean by any means so the set the stage for what we might be walking into. From the outside it doesn’t look to bad but the second we opened the door to the studio cottage we rented there was an awful smell. The room was not inviting and outdated. It was not clean the curtains and chairs were gross. The toilet was dirty as well as dirt in corners of the room. We immediately decided not to stay. We asked kindly for a refund where we would not be staying because of the condition of the cabin, I got a rude response with no refund from them because unfortunately we used Expedia we needed to go through them for a refund. To no surprise they have reached out many times without being able to speak with the manager. Don’t waste your time booking here there are plenty of other better hotels/motels in wells.

The desk staff was awful, she was unfriendly and lazy. We stayed 3 days only because we couldn't cancel without losing our money. No one cleaned the room, had to ask for towels and we finally had to stop one of the cleaning staff and ask for our room to be cleaned. I would never stay or recommend this hotel

We booked a small 2 bedroom cottage and when we arrived, it was under 60 degrees with the A/C blasting even though it was 30 degrees outside that night. There is only one heat source for the whole building and it took hours to warm up enough that we could sleep. There were no top sheets on the twin beds - only one thin, worn out, scratchy blanket - and by the time we realized that, the front desk was closed (10:30pm) so we couldn’t even request additional bedding. Went to shower in the morning and there was no hot water, tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room wasn’t even connected so we had to get dressed and walk across the property to tell them. By the time they got it fixed, we were checking out. Otherwise the room and furnishings were about what we expected based on reviews and price point, definitely not fancy but it’s a place to stay and was nice the kids each had their own bed.

Would highly recommend. Older place but kept up immaculately. Very clean. Very clean rooms. We stayed with another couple who agree with all mentioned. Grounds kept up with. Only stayed one night during our travel to our final destination but could tell this would be a nice place to stay for longer stay. I don't believe they offered breakfast but could be wrong. We left rather early and did not inquire. "Quaint"

Our room was clean and the whole place was quiet despite it being a holiday weekend. The pool was closed for the season but I'd like to try it someday. There were plenty of places just a short drive (10 minutes or less) away for some great seafood! Also, there are two mini gplf places to choose from! The lighthouse boat tour from Perkins Cove is lovely, too. Close to everything!

Room was clean overall, but lots of things were left to be desired. Flickering light in the fridge, baseboard trim missing in the bathroom, a landlord style caulk job in the tub that only went 1/3 of the way around, an alarm clock (i’m assuming from the previous occupants) went off at 6 AM in the other room on our first night, and the WIFI was unusable. No hardware reset would solve that, it’s simply too far from the source. The pet fee was egregious on top of the cost, given the state of our room/stay. I will say the outside is good looking from the front and the parking is plentiful. It is a cozy little place, that’s for sure.

Spent 3 nights in a two bedroom cottage (#6). Convenient location, clean rooms and dog friendly! The accommodations are basic but met our needs just fine. The rain head shower was great. Thankfully, we brought our own toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) as the ones they supply are tiny. The refrigerator died the last day there and we had to toss some things out but hey….stuff happens. Would absolutely stay here again.
