"As we arrived we could choose between two properties. Karin communicated very well with us. The view from our balcony was great. Had all the basics. The smell was a bit odd when we arrived. It came from the toilet. It was fine after we aired out and kept the toilet door closed. Walk up and down is very steep. But it’s ok we didn’t have to walk fast. Beaches are closed by. "It's in a great location if you're looking for a quieter side of town, and very safe. Bakery across the road, bus to other beaches passes right by, and a nice restaurant - Pelikano - just down the block overlooking the river. The footbridge means you can be in the main swell of BC in minutes. I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller and completely recommend this place."
