"Our stay at Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The resort is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located with stunning turquoise beach views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond every single day — everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was one of the biggest highlights. There were so many delicious options at the buffet and restaurants, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also excellent, especially by the pool and during the nightly entertainment. The entertainment team kept the energy fun without being overwhelming, and the RIU parties were such a great experience too. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean with an incredible view. Housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout our stay. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations and gave us the perfect Cancun vacation. We would absolutely come back again and highly recommend Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, adults-only all-inclusive experience in Cancun! To highlight some staff: Neri - was very helpful and got us an amazing room. Every single one of the entertainment team was amazing. "

"The staff were extremely helpful and always happy. The building needs some upkeep. The spa was a bit pushy for services all day everyday. They tend to push wine bottles for purchase on you at every restaurant for dinner. Gift shop stupid expensive when you can go down the street for half the cost."

"We booked two rooms, each with two double beds but one of the rooms we got had only a king size bed. Instead of finding us another room with two double beds, we had to get another single bed rolled in. One of the rooms constantly smelled like mold. As an all-inclusive, the hotel is not a great option for anyone planning on doing lots of early morning excursions as no real food options were available before 7:00 am. Yes, you can pick up a ready made sandwich, some unhealthy danish/muffin options, fruit and a drink from the 24 hour buffet, but these options are not great, especially for vegetarians and if you are concerned about the safety of uncooked fruits and vegetables. Also, the quality of drinks and food were just average, with sugary syrups used instead of juice in the fancy drinks and grissly/fatty meats. The pools and setting were terrific of course but it would be nice if someone actually monitored the hallways to keep people quiet during sleep hours. Every night we could hear the voices of excited party folks reverberating around the concrete hallways, had drunken fools knock on the 'wrong' door in the middle of the night, or had someone pull the fire alarm. This did not make the hotel a restful place. I thought by picking a hotel that included families that it wouldn't be such a party hotel but that was not the case."

"I spent a lot of money expecting to enjoy a relaxing vacation, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The room had ants and roaches, and management wanted to send people to spray the room while we were staying there. When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want is to worry about bugs getting into your luggage or belongings. The property is also extremely big, so you constantly need golf carts to get around. Sometimes we had to wait close to 30 minutes just to get picked up and go from one place to another. Customer service was poor, especially when trying to get help or solve issues. The restaurants themselves were good, but getting into them was very difficult because everything was overcrowded and busy. Unless you made reservations two days ahead, your chances of getting in were very low. Overall, the resort looks nice, but the experience did not match the amount of money we paid."
