The staff at Reception was friendly and helpful putting us on the same floor as other family members. We checked in a room in which the TV and safe did not work. A friendly staff member spent half and hour trying to fix the TV but failed to do so. We were moved to another room. The TV worked but the safe did not. Another technician came and simply put new batteries in the safe and solved the issue. I later learned from the other family member that the safe in their room did not work either. We were frustrated a lot of time was wasted in fixing two very basic items in our room.

Great stay overall. The check-in and check-out process was quick and seamless, which made everything so easy. The rooms were clean and well presented, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The location was also just 10 minutes max to the city centre, making it super convenient. It was a really pleasant experience and we would happily stay again!

Great property. Large room. Well appointed and clean. Canberra light rail station directly opposite which is convenient. Perhaps it's a little too far to walk to Civic, but it would be manageable if time permits. Secure undercover parking is offered for fifteen per night, which is pretty reasonable for Canberra I think? Only negative was breakfast shuts at 0930 and check-out is at 1000. Both seem a little early? Also the breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages) were all quite cold. But all in all, it's a pretty good newer property for Canberra.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating but unfortunately it is very evident that management are going overboard in cost cutting. Our fridge was set to barely below room temperature which was frankly a health hazard. Three rolls of toilet paper and three towels for two people for four nights is not adequate provision. Yes we could go down and get more at reception but it's far nicer to just be provided with those things than having to walk through the hotel with an arm full of toiletries. I note there were no sanitary bags provided or shower caps. Not a deal breaker but had I known I would have brought my own. I assumed those things were standard? One thing that upset us was the lack of fresh air in the room (another cost cutting measure?), it was difficult to get any sleep as it became stuffy and hot which meant we had to turn the air con on but then had to turn it off again, then it became too cold with it blowing on us so we couldn't settle. The other thing was the website said we were getting two twin beds which we took to meaning two double beds but we were given two singles. The location of the hotel is great, three stops down the tram line to Civic which connects you to the rest of the transport network. Reception is 24 hr which was most appreciated. Please just look after your guests a bit more as the little things that make going to a hotel special make all the difference. Little biscuits after a long trip, a couple of bottles of shampoo and conditioner etc.
