"Hotel was simply exceptional. Huge rooms with a great view of the ocean. Far enough from the Main Street for peace and quiet but close enough to walk to. The staff went above and beyond and truly demonstrated great hospitality. Overall a great stay, fantastic staff and a clean and comfortable hotel. "

"Had a lovely experience at the hotel. Everything was perfect but what really stood out for me was the professionalism and friendliness of literally all the staff. From the courteous reception staff, the ladies at the other desk who where very kind and patient in helping me with suitable tours to book, the cleaners who were always very polite and friendly and the staff at the outdoor areas who where just exceptional as this is where I spent most of my time at the hotel. "Our oasis… while the other hotels along Camos Bay are on the loud main road through town, The Retreat is just enough above the road that you really only hear the ocean waves breaking on the shore or the birds in the gardens. We were so happy we picked this place instead of near the chaos. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive and we ended us eating there most every night as the food was great and the outside dining area had the best ocean sunset views you could ask for. We had to cancel one part of our journey and turned around and came right back here. Such a treat. "
