"The place was lovely and probably more so in the spring or in summer. We visited as we had business in town. The place was beautiful however location wise it is best suited for those with cars as there are no restaurants or shops nearby. Transportation is ok but bus intervals are usually 1hr apart. As for the bus stop it is right outside Dolce Vita but it's pitch black dark at night and dangerous so be careful. I would recommend you to rent a car when staying here."

"Ho trascorso un soggiorno piacevole all'HOTIDAY Lodge Castiglione. La struttura è ben curata, immersa nel verde e in una posizione ottima, a pochi passi da una bellissima spiaggia. La casa mobile era pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, anche se l'ho trovata un po' piccola per tre persone. La piscina è ben tenuta e rappresenta un valore aggiunto per chi desidera rilassarsi durante la vacanza. Anche la posizione è ideale per visitare Castiglione della Pescaia e i dintorni. "Pool with ideal water temperature of 31’C, 3 pools to be exact. One for kids, one spa!? And Olympic size. It’s just great temperature you get in with pleasant feeling but still let you cool off in hot weather just perfect. My apartment was very spacious with upstairs mezzanine bedroom. Outdoor space is just enormous! On the downside only 2 charging points(2 cars) it’s need more."

"Everyone in the hotel was very accommodating. The front staff spoke a little English and enough to get us checked in and feel comfortable. Most staff spoke only Italian or Spanish, but that is understandable. It felt like a resort such that we were in the middle of coutry-side a d close to the beach within 10 miles. They had a HUGE pool and attendants making sure the site was clean, maintained, and secure. Very happy about their breakfast options and dinner selections. We did mostly eat out but when we attended dinner there is was nice and relaxing. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!"

"Where as we enjoyed our time here we did have a bit of an issue with our room temperature. We asked for it to be lowered as it was 81 degrees. We found out, after a very uncomfortable night and requesting 2 more times, that the AC was not working. As an aside: we could not open a window as our room was on the 1st floor and only had doors to a common area. We were moved to a new room. Other than that- the staff was lovely the pools and Spa are great. Location is wonderful with close proximity to the beach and some wonderful restaurants serving delicious seafood."
