"This pristine and beautiful property took our breath away upon arrival. Five star service and amenities abound. Our suite was stunning and well appointed. We felt as if we stepped back in time and were reminded of what outstanding service and accommodations should be like ~ a much needed respite after a busy week in Florence. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palazzo Brandano in the tiny Tuscan village of Petroio (population around 287!). From the day before our arrival, Laura was already in touch with us—her communication and genuine care made us feel welcome and looked after right away.
The hotel is full of character and perfectly situated in this charming little town. Petroio itself feels like something out of a movie—you can literally drive through it in about 4 minutes. The streets are narrow, winding, and picturesque, giving you the sense you’ve stepped back in time.
While there aren’t any restaurants directly in town, there are several excellent options just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel, which worked out perfectly for us. The breakfast in the morning was very good, the cappuccinos were excellent, and the servers were amazing—extremely kind and incredibly fast in bringing out your food.
Laura and the team went above and beyond to make our visit special. If you’re looking for a hidden gem that offers attentive service, authentic Tuscan charm, and the magic of staying in a very small Italian town, Palazzo Brandano is a perfect choice.

"Me and my wife stayed there for our honeymoon. We had an exceptional time. The service was exceptional. The pools and amenities were very nice. Great! Breakfast was just free. Located close to montel Chino and many great wineries. Specifically, we really enjoyed the wine tasting. The entire staff were great but here were some standouts , We were helped by Kristian who made us feel extremely welcomed and Morris who performed our wine tasting and he was an exceptional.
