Excellent accommodation for overnight stay with pub and restaurant onsite. Would definitely stay again. Only grumble was that the ‘Double Bed’ was 2 singles pushed together. Other than that no issues.

Had a great overnight stay on the way to Goodwood,all the staff from check in to restaurant were welcoming and attentive,food was excellent and fairly priced,will definitely book here again

Little gem in the area, good value for money.

We stay in FArnborough area often and never used the Ely hotel before but tried it out. What a pleasant stay. Great price, good food/breakfast and nice room, with all amenities you would expect from a far pricier hotel. Will definitely stay at again.

The hotel staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly. Rooms were fantastic and had all the little touches that meant you had everything that you needed, where you needed it. Absolutely would recommend. We had an event here and the staff looked after us well all night. The only draw back was breakfast the next morning was a bit chaotic, slow service and underwhelming for something that cost £25 to add onto the room price.

Nice hotel but noise proofing between rooms poor.

Nice hotel with comfortable and spacious room. Pleasantly decorated. Noise proofing not good though, could hear the resident in the room above walking across the floor as the floor boards creaked and could even hear him snoring in the night! Staff were pleasant and food in the pub was excellent.

Nice comfortable room, everything you need, only issue was you could hear the road noise even though it was set well away from the road, this was due to the old windows

Great Hotel and Pub

Excellent stay for 1 night on a business trip. the hotel room was spotless and comfortable. excellent touch on the urn of fresh milk for a cuppa with a biscuit. wifi great, bed soft and comfortable, TV ok, shower nice and hot and rooms were quiet and peaceful. ONLY feedback is the lack of a link/covered area between the pub and the hotel. it was tipping it down and the walk from door to door meant i was soaked

The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept reasonably well. Could have done with better sound proofing as we could hear next door snoring all night and talking otherwise no problems
