The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "The apartment was everything we were looking for - spacious, with a west facing terrace, bright and so clean! It’s about a 25 minute walk into the centre, though there is a bus option. We like staying on the outskirts of town as you get to see more ‘real life’. I’ve given 4 rather than five stars for the area just because it would have been nice to have more dining choices - that said, we had plenty of facilities to cook our own meals and there were 2 places to eat which were nice.
