I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. "The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked....
