"Beautiful spot. Really beautifully designed hotel tucked in a corner with lovely views out to the ocean. Amenities were all modern and top quality. The food was fine. Our room was very nice, but the comments about no privacy around the bathroom area are very true. The service was generally very good, with only a few odd exceptions. The spa was also lovely and we not enjoyed our services. Would definitely recommend staying here!"

Imagine sitting amidst the vines, fruit veg and flower garden by the lavender edged pool watching the sunset with wine from their own vines before sampling their Michelin type taster menu. "Beautiful view from the roof terrace and a great host. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Accessibility for those who are mobility restricted is more difficult so keep that in mind. Calheita is a nice village with good restaurants. Easy access by car to all hiking areas"
