"I liked this place but it was no frills. They served a simple breakfast. A cup of juice, tea or coffee, one egg and a couple of pieces of fresh cooked bread. I liked it but don’t expect a big complimentary breakfast. It’s a ways up a hill so expect a tough uphill trek at the end of the night. If you want a relaxing time in Cuzco you may want a little higher end place. If you want a nice simple place to get ready for a trek to Machu Picchu it’s perfect."

"I had a wonderful stay at LP Los Portales in Cusco. The location is unbeatable, everything felt clean and well maintained, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. I’d definitely come back."

"We had booked a room with a queen size bed, and only ended up getting a double bed for our two nights stay. The bed was not very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The one morning our excursion left at 4 AM. They made sure we had sandwiches and water to take with us in place of the complementary breakfast. Would stay there again, but would make sure we ended up with a queen size room"

"Overall it was okay. Room was quite spacious. Netflix didn’t work. Breakfast area was very crowded and the spread is quite standard. The seating area is very cramp. Final bill was abit complicated. In fact there was an overcharge in the final bill which hotel.com/ expedia later found out and a refund was made."

"Hotel is located 10 mins ride from popular tourist attractions in Cusco. Uber was available within mins. Hotel was well maintained and clean. Front desk was very helpful. Self Laundry service at the hotel was offered for 45 soles per load which includes detergent and softener. There are several wash and fold services in walking distance of the hotel for reasonable prices and they deliver the clothes to the lobby. Breakfast spread for great with live omelette station and some local dishes to try."

"We loved our stay here. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the central plaza. The hotel is very clean, updated, and comfortable. The room and bathroom were modern, and the rain shower was especially nice after a long day. Breakfast was great, the service was excellent, and the on-site restaurant was also very good. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely return."
