"The wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Bilmar. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The pools were outstanding as well. We loved eating next door at Sloppy Joe's. We've stayed here a few times and never regretted it. Had a great stay. Thank you."

"It's an old hotel and an okish location. I had to stay there cause I had no choice. Not sure why the ranking on Expedia is so high. This shouldn't have a 8.8 ranking. It's closer to 5"

"The hotel itself was great, but unfortunately the billing experience was not. We were charged multiple unexpected fees, including a per day for parking and a per day resort fee. While at the resort, the staff admitted to my face that charging me the Expedia amount directly said it was an accident and said it would be credited back. However, after I left, the story changed and I was told it was actually a “deposit.” As of writing this review, the money still has not been returned. For a two-night stay, I ended up with an additional $625 in charges pending/posted beyond what was expected. The property itself was nice, but the lack of transparency and inconsistent explanations regarding the charges really took away from the experience."

"Outstanding place to stay in Clearwater Beach! The rooms and property are always super clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very close location to the beach, shops and restaurants. The extras like the courtyard, beach towels, extra sink in the room and pools add to the excellent rating. This is our 4th stay at Devon Shores and will definitely not be our last."
