"Lovely room in a convenient location for getting the tram to the centre and the airport. Roof terrace and pool are a bonus - I’d like some clarity on the opening times as there were two different signs on the door to the terrace.
Everything was great however the only key issue was that the fire alarms were very sensitive, and if one goes off e.g. from someone having a hot shower and leaving the door open, the rest of the hotel’s alarms go off, albeit only for a few seconds before the detection turns off as it isn’t a true fire. I understand the safety element of this however they went off multiple times throughout our stay, including twice in the middle of the night/early morning, waking you up in a panic before stopping and then trying to get back to sleep after. I also worry this could become a ‘boy who cried wolf’ situation in the future that some may ignore the alarm for a genuine fire because it is so sensitive to smaller issues. I’m unsure what the exact solution to this is but some firmer guidance for people staying at the hotel/reducing the sensitivity a bit would help I imagine many visitors have a better night’s sleep.
If this issue is fixed, I’d definitely recommend the hotel!"
