"Handy location for out journey from Shropshire to Skye. Room was pleasant, although separate to the Hotel, so a cold/wet walk to the main building for dinner/breakfast. Lovely view of the loch.
Food was disappointing. Whole menu was either gluten free or gf option. Turned out that was incorrect - and gluten free actually means removing gluten containing food from the plate. Very disappointing when most hotels have moved with the times and have realistic dietary options."
"Lovely property with comfortable well appointed rooms. Extremely courteous staff and excellent dining and drinking options. Enjoying the lounge by the fire is terribly cozy, we nixed our plan to pop into Oban. Everything was pristine with keen attention to detail. Didn’t have the time to enjoy the spa but hope to do so during a future visit. "
"Staff are brilliant here. Tam the chef makes tasty meals ,can recommend the carvery for an evening meal and the pancakes at breakfast were yummy. Natasha served breakfast, she's a breath of fresh air, happy and cheerful in the morning, but all the staff are great. The tables could do with a bit of TLC it brings the overall look down a bit.
Bedrooms are clean and comfy beds , tea ,coffee ,milk "
"Lovely stay and clean and comfortable room. Shower was great! Spa is so nice and modern, best bit is the outdoor heated pool with views over the Clyde. Dinner was lovely in the Vista restaurant and the whisky bar was nice and sophisticated. Breakfast was the only criticism as they had run out of a lot of continental options when we arrived around 9:30am and the hot food was okay. Overall we had a great stay and would return again."
"Fantastic stay at the Loch Fyne. The hotel was really clean and the facilities were well kept with stunning decor. We enjoyed the outdoor spa facility which was new and very clean. Ee brought our dog who was treated very well. Staff is really nice. We also dined at the restaurant and the dinner was a proper fine dining experience with dishes perfectly executed. Well done Chef! Among the waiters the blond slim pretty girl stood out for kindness and professionality. I did not take her name but I hope this is passed to management as her service was exceptional. "
"Stayed overnight and had prepaid for breakfast. Went down when breakfast opened but there were many students staying and had formed a queue around the dining room. We didn't have time to wait as had to catch a particular ferry. Told receptionist when we checked out and was told "they paid too". Not impressed at customer service."
