"Quirky little house. Could be said to have 'character' !. But small things: dirty cookware, no basics (salt & pepper, kindling for fire), no light in 1 room. All made this property overpriced. We stayed in other lovely, clean & smart places for similar pricing. "

"We had no choice as there was no where else in Burra. Previous reviews had complained about a step in a dark corridor and nothing had been done to fix this problem and my partner also missed this step and stumbled. At least some yellow tape on the step would help. The corridors are stacked with old boxes and other bits of junk. You do get what you pay for and the room is simply furnished. At least the room was warm. The meal however was wonderful. Would eat there any time"
