"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. "All of the staff were friendly and helpful and even organised transport to a local spa for massages which were very good value. Our room was air conditioned, cleaned daily and toiletries, towels and drinking water were also replenished. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. There was a 15 minute walk into the touristy beach area but that suited us. The bar and restaurant food were reasonably priced and available until late. The pool was a haven in the heat with poolside food and drinks available. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return."

"We had a problem with the initial room and the staff was gracious and moved us. We had booked a balcony room for the sunset view of the ocean and unfortunately the glass barriers on ours were completely dirty and streaked so unless standing no view. All others looked clean. This was important to me, they listened and moved us. I was grateful. Bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the location great. Beach was just across the street down a public access. 5 minute walk but they would shuttle you as well if needed. Great overall service and would definitely book again. "
