"Ruby's Inn Resort is a wonderful experience for anyone visiting the American West and specifically Bryce Canyon. It is clean & well kept. The summer prices are quite expensive. It seems a little high for the quality, but they have you where they want you and there aren't many choices. The breakfast offerings for the Bryce View Lodge could have been higher, given the cost. The disappointing part was the staff. It doesn't appear that friendliness and quality service is a high priority for the resort experience. I found many staff members short, unfriendly, flippant, and even rude. I have been to Ruby's Inn countless times, and this is the first time I really felt this as an all around vibe at the resort. Experience is everything, especially when paying a premium price. They really need to attend to the level of service they provide. We will likely look elsewhere for our next trip."

"Room was clean. Amenities were ok the first night, however on the 2nd night, could not get the shower water warm or hot. When checking out, older woman (50??) at front desk was very “cold”!!!!! Asked for a receipt, and thought I’d asked for ??? I was afraid to ask if the coffee in the office was complimentary. FRONT DESK PERSONNEL when checking in or out is the lasting impression one remembers the most!!!!"

"We were at Bryce Canyon for two days; very awesome. The hotel has a restaurant, which was rustic, yet delicious. We liked the quiet of this place as it wasn’t in the central and popular hotel areas; much to our liking. It’s a classic older property, yet kept in decent condition. I’m an older person, who likes creatures comforts; this place was more than okay."

"In the first place I was billed an extra $26.50 to my credit card after already prepaying for my stay with no explanation for that charge. When we got to the room, the air conditioning didn’t work in the upstairs room of the bed and breakfast, and the owner took over 30 minutes to respond and ultimately insisted the air was working but never came to the property! It was 87 degrees outside and 80 in the room where we were assigned. I have pictures of the thermostat set at 67 and the inside temperature of 80 degrees. We had to leave because the room was too hot to stay in. I have initiated a report to Expedia and am still waiting for a response, but I should not have to pay for a room that was not habitable. Beware of full prepayment to unscrupulous properties."
