Staffs are so nice and helpful. Rooms smells so nice with the fragrance they have placed. There is also a fireplace in the room which made is warm and cozy whenever you needed it. Hotel is also pet friendly, we were given a care package for my dog.
Beautiful hotel, tastefully renovated. We stayed at the executive suite with garden view, which was adorable. There was a hiccup during checkout as we were abruptly told that we hadn’t paid for the room, while in fact we had. We showed the invoice and it was settled but the way this was dealt with left a bad taste.
This is fantastic hotel and the decor is absolutely superb, the bedroom was luxurious and bed huge and comfy, the shower was absolutely fantastic, the staff can not do enough for you. The grounds are secluded garden that has a bathing pool (not heated ) in the centre but the garden is extremely well maintained and they have several patios with very comfy seating and there is a canal at the end of the garden.
They also have a wellness centre and a jacuzzi which we didnt try on our stay
We enjoyed every moment of our time there.
Stunningly beautiful accommodations. Loved our view of the back garden area. Great staff. Enjoyed the morning breakfast. A very special place within a very special city. We are raving about it to all who will listen!

Disliked: Staff & service
I stayed at The Notary Bruges and had a very disappointing experience regarding a lost item.
After checking out, I realized I had left a sweater behind. I contacted the hotel and received written confirmation that the item had been found and would be securely stored until a friend could pick it up on my behalf, as I am currently based abroad.
When my friend went to retrieve it, the hotel was unable to locate the item. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails and have received no response.
While mistakes can happen, this situation reflects a clear lack of accountability and basic customer service. The item was acknowledged and confirmed as stored, yet it was not returned, and all communication has since been ignored.
I would strongly caution future guests to double-check all belongings before checkout, as there appears to be little follow-through when issues arise.
Had a lovely weekend break with my girlfriend and enjoyed every bit of this hotel - my only criticism is that they advertise pool, jaquizzi and spa - but the pool is basically a pond in the garden (with fish in it) and spa is a small out house with tiny sauna in it. They also charge an extra fee for using the spa, which is disappointing considering the amount you spend on the room.
We decided against using the spa for that reason.
Stunning property in a wonderful location. However, style over substance with the rooms and service. There is limited room to put anything, as surfaces are covered in ornaments. There was no full length mirror. Grounds were beautiful, but they appeared understaffed, and struggled to meet requests such as extra pillows (as we only got one each), and unable to man the bar when checking in guests etc. Had an unfortunate incident where we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Property looks five star, but they did not meet the usual five star standard of service on this occasion.

Si bien el hotel es chico, la habitación que tomé es la mas bonita que he tenido en mi vida y eso que viajo mucho a todo el mundo.
