"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel.
We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location.
Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive.
The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard.
We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "

"Friendly staff. Good dinner menu that was perfectly cooked with good depth of flavour and clearly a good quality stock.
Paid for a King room but the windows were right up afainst a wall, not impressed with that at all! "

"Excellent value for money with everything you need for an overnight stay. Included breakfast was very welcome too. Really friendly staff. An easy place to get to only a few miles from Stamford. No doubt we'll stay again."

"Very, very steep stairs to the apartment. Spacious with 2 separate rooms. Microwave, toaster and air fryer but no oven or hob. Not enough cutlery/crockery. No tea towel! I'd say not very well equipped. "

"Everything was spotless and all done in a tasteful way. Staff and food were excellent. Location could not be better.
Soundproofing between rooms was a bit lacking due to ‘energetic’ guests next door!!"
