Helpful staff on arrival, easy check in, clean room, good facilities, good self service breakfast, perfect accommodation for an overnight stay in the area.
Excellent stay in a quiet, spacious and comfortable room with "olde worlde" charm. Very good continental breakfast selection. Look forward to restaurant opening.
The place is very comfortable and offered a very nice breakfast. The only slight issue was that for some of my group, their rooms had a green emergency light permanently on in the line of sight in their rooms, which affected their quality of sleep.
Start with the ‘negative’- room could definitely use new curtains and a couple of bulbs are dead (though we didn’t need them).
Breakfast was excellent- many bigger places could learn from it- great to have fresh fruit and I wish we weren’t meeting friends for lunch- I would have eaten more!
The Hotel was in a good location and near to a couple of pubs. I left a little too early for breakfast.
Only one thing but it is only small could have done with more milk in the room only 3 small cartons other than that I will be staying with them again

A bit odd arriving as had to text/ring to say we'd arrived but Ali was very welcoming, the room was nice; all very oldy worldy which I loved. The continental breakfast was fabulous to be fair. There is still work going on to refurbish but all in all a lovely place.
Lovely old building and very friendly greeting. Good communication. Continental breakfast included in the price but make sure you go early, otherwise you might not get everything on offer.
Fabulous stay, short walk over the park to the village centre for shops, pub and several dinkng options.
Great continental breakfast with vegan options too.
Shower was good with hood water pressure, bed comfy and new and clean linens.
Parking plentiful and wifi signal was good too.
Woukd defjnitely stay again when in Bristol working.
Glad they've kept as many as the original features as possible.
Loved it.
A lovely period building but with 21st century comforts including smart TV, hot shower, and decent WiFi. Breakfast offering was more than i was expecting and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. Watch out for the satnav taking you to the wrong place, look for the Langley Arms pub sign and park round the back.

Perfectly fine. Good value for money. Cheap and cheerful.
Lovely spacious and comfortable top floor room.
Great location for business visit to Emerson’s Green. Quiet peaceful location but only a few minutes walk to the shopping centre.
Lovely greeting and very friendly welcome.
Good continental breakfast selection and great value too (free!)
Will definitely be back.
This property has a lot of potential if the owners put the work into it. The room was a nice size. The bed was absolutely uncomfortable. No support and I was in tears by the last night. The cold tap handle in the bathroom was broken off and it I could have cut my hand. We had to ask if someone would come to clean the room or at least take the trash out. My husband asked the young man who was attending in the breakfast room about it and he said they would "refresh" our room. They only took out our trash. We were not told where we were to leave our keys when we left and how to contact them should problems arise during our stay.
Thr dresser drawers stuck and we had a hard time opening them.
Would not recommend until renovations were done.
Unfortunately this quaint, historic B&B is not totally functional for customers.
I was very misled about the location, condition of this property on the Expida website. Yes it is quiet and private but it has been recently purchased by new owners in the past 8 months and is very remote to the town of Bristol and is lacking in amenities to current travellers. They are in the process of renovations at present and there is a wonderful selection of breakfast items but after that’s over @ noon the door to the eating area is closed. With no options for customers such as sitting area, kitchen facilities(microwave, sink, drinking water, fridge etc.) as quaint as the sitting area is its of no use to anyone after 12pm. We were booked for 5 nights but left after the first night due to lack of amenities and with my partner being sick no onsite kitchen.
We talked to one of the owners the next day as we were exiting the location and waiting for our Uber ride and explained our concerns, but 2 weeks later we have not been contacted by any of the owners and are out 800 euros and having to move to a different location and pay another 1100 euros for 4 nights. With the upcoming renovations I hope future customers will be happy with their stay. But for know I would not recommend staying here.

300 years of footsteps : )
Welcome was great for check in as the guy (sorry forgot your name !) was there, but it sounded easy enough if he wasnt , which was good for us. The building is just so historic... which we loved (and being so close to north Bristol which we needed) It was clear from the publicity and the conversation with the guy that this is a work in progress as they have not long taken over the B&B and the now closed pub next door. Breakfast is a continental DIY and was just right . Lovely walking woods across the way, despite being in middle of a housing estate . Downsides for us were our room was a bit tired and bedside tables were sticky - but it was the least expensive and maybe smallest and sheets and towels were spotless (bed comfy also). The floors are VERY creaky but its a 300 yr old house... we could hear our neighbours creaking, snoring and a dog barking lol . The lovely guy at check in warned us about this again (I saw the reviews also) and its just one of the things about old houses. They want to keep the history of the place...which is really important and will make it even more special when work is finished. There was also a fire safety green light on the ceiling all night, so if you struggle with sleeping I would wait until they have renovated...this place will be amazing and we will def come back to try it...if we can afford it ! It will be the place to stay and eat - and a roof terrace eatery will set it apart. Thank you and good luck with it all
