The room was not clean when we entered. There were dead bugs in the tub and some unknown substance near the sink. The white towels had brown / red stains. We asked for a change of the towels and those also had brown / red stains. Hotel is pretty old - paint is flaking off everywhere. No slippers ...

Pool and spa were brilliant good for kids not too busy and nice areas to relax. Staff were really helpful at breakfast especially with the kids. The Coach House and The Stable
The road outside is a little noisy but the bed is incredibly comfortable. Kitchen facilities are excellent and room has WiFi and Sky TV (although the TV can't be easily seen from the bed). Shower was good - certainly hot enough, and toiletries provided were a nice touch.
