"Their system said I had not paid for breakfast, I had. The room was not cleaned without my insistence, apparently they were too busy! Spent 90 mins in foyer while it was done. Room keys did not work very well. Changed but still not working properly. Woken just before midnight on final night, banging on door, He refused to say who it was, Said I had to prove who I was as no one should be in the room. No apology given. A man banging on my door just before midnight telling me to identify myself to him smacks of the travel lodge incident where women are put at risk. Following morning, no apology, blaming the company we booked through, finally offered a small refund which I am having to claim through a third party. I had very little sleep after the incident. Left as soon as possible as I was left feeling very uncomfortable.
There was a real sense that I was an inconvenience. All problems were the fault of anyone but them. Very poor customer service. Not a good experience at all. Returned home far more tired than when I left. Not good fro a short break."
