"Lovely hotel ideally located for a short stay for RSPB Bempton. Only minor niggle was the room was very small and warm but being on the side of the main road it was far too noisy to have the window open. But it was exceptionally hot so maybe this isn’t a normal problem. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. And worth noting the rooms are only serviced IF you’ve read the welcome folder and find the notice you have to leave on the door! Found it as we were checking OUT! Maybe mention this at check IN!"

"Amenities not as offered. Downstairs was untidy with piles of washing in places and wires hanging from the ceiling. The”Bar” was the breakfast room and it was not open. Family dog was allowed to roam which contributed to the lack of cleanliness. Rooms were clean and serviceable but very dated. Overall the property is very tired and in need of attention"
