The property is on the main road, so we parked at the Mercure Hotel which gives you 24 hours for £10 and is a short walk. There is free parking in some of the side roads but you need to be gone by 8 am. The room was clean and well ventilated and the staff on the phone were very friendly and helpful.

There was an outside area we could sit in after our walk and meal out, which was nice instead of sitting in our room. Room/bedding was clean. Shower worked well. Parking an issue, we were lucky and the host was helpful, but it is on a main road you cant park on. Only a walk away from town centre/supermarket.

The accommodation was fine but there were two downsides. There is public parking on the road around the corner but it is very busy and difficult to find a space. We also had a triple room which was comfortable but it fronts onto a busy noisy main road. Good value for money

I stayed here last night and had a really pleasant experience overall. The room was cozy and warm, which made it feel instantly comfortable and welcoming after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the tea and coffee facilities—those little extras always make a difference. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the lovely resident cat, who I completely adored. Such a charming and unique touch that really made the place feel homely. There was a small issue with slight mould in the shower room, which could use some attention, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. All in all, a nice stay and I’d happily come back again.
