"Nice location but I like a hot shower in the morning and this they did not provide. after five minutes or so it got to warm, it never got hot, and that was running the hot water tap only."

"The music finished at 11pm on the Friday and Saturday. On the other days there was no loud music. Communal kitchen leading to balcony with table and chairs. Communal bathroom was clean with large showers. "

"Good location in centre of city, close to many eateries, restaurants, Rundle Mall and train station. Comfy beds and clean. Breakfast buffet mediocre with only watermelon chunks and orange slices for fresh fruit to go with cereals. Scrambled eggs undercooked."

"It was difficult to find where to check in but once there the staff were very helpful. A grocery store nearby and a river park for going for a walk. Food at the hotel was okay. Wifi in my room was fine."

"We stayed at the Playford for 2 nights. We had one of the rooms with a mezzanine. A nice room but could have been better laid out. A great shower. A lovely comfortable bed but if you moved out of bed the sensor for the stairs came on and there was a LOT of lighting. Same thing downstairs as soon as you entered the room the sensor went off. I realise it’s for safety on the stairs at night but just too much. "

"Check in was very quick, and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. All the necessary utilities were provided including a kettle for your morning coffee. The shower had great water pressure and nice and warm. It felt so good to get out of the shower onto a heated floor. What luxury this was. We went to the restaurant that night, and the selection of food was great. They appeared to specialise in Malaysian food. We tried that, and the spices and flavours were very nice. A very thoroughly enjoyable meal. The location just outside the airport is very convenient. Being next to the airport tarmac was very quiet due to the rooms having double glazing on the windows. Once we closed our door, we never heard any outside noise. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Adelaide."
