"We had dinner in an almost empty dining room. The meals were served up but no one checked on us during the meal. My partner had no cheese in his burger. We mentioned this at when the plates were being cleared and it was mentioned to the chef and manager but no apologies or no compensation. The coffee sachets in the room used the cheapest coffee possible and it tasted awful. We had breakfast, which was okay but nothing special. I admit that they stopped serving at 9.30 and we went down at 9.00 but most of the cooked food looked like it had been there since they started serving and the coffee was very weak."

"It was disappointing that when we returned to our room at 4.30 PM it still hadn't been cleaned. When I enquired at reception I was told that I needed to appreciate there were 100 guests staying and there were 4 more rooms on the list to be cleaned before ours! In fairness, a cleaner then arrived 5 minutes later, but it was late in the day to still be servicing the rooms. The food in the bar and at breakfast were excellent. Some hotel staff were really friendly and professional, whilst others seemed very stressed by their workload and rather brisk in their manner, which was a shame."

"Booked the suite with my partner for three nights, turned out we had booked gran’s house, very dated, no tv in bedroom even though it’s shown in the pictures. When opening the window the plastic window surround fell off and there was no curtains on the window so people on the car park get full view. The lights flicker in the bathroom so if your epileptic you might want to swerve the bathroom. Stafff are slow, don’t expect to get a beer before 5pm as you will be waiting until 5, reception is no better. Then there is the cleanliness, house keeping washed the dirty mugs from our room in the bathroom sink then put them back out to use again. yes where the toilet is, last time I’ll ever come here, disgusting, bad house keeping, slow staff, if you can find one! Few staff around when the fire alarm went off but nobody telling us where to go or what was happening."

"Fire alarm at 7:30am. It was only on briefly. Bmy husband went to find out if everything was ok, and was told all patrons needed to evacuate as a precaution. He called us in the room to tell us to leave. However, there was no communication from the hotel staff about the need to evacuate. Apparently they'd searched all floors but we didn't see or hear from anyone on floor 4. Need to work on better fire or emergency evacuation communication."
